You know, hope is a mistake.
It still feels like a miracle this film exists. Recently read an article where George Miller Warner Bros and if he thought his planned sequel(s) would ever be made and he was quoted as saying "...it seems to be pretty clear that it's going to happen ", so who knows maybe we'll get another miracle.
