Who would have thought that Norman Bates’ son would come up with such fucked up stories. 

I think this has already become Osgood Perkins highest grossing film and I gotta say it’s about time he gets the attention.  

I would imagine that Agent Lee Harker was somewhat inspired by Agent Clarice Starling as a jumping off point at least. Origins and... well everything else is quite different. Loved Maika Monroe in the role. Then you have Nicolas Cage tapping into an unhinged part of his repertoire we haven’t seen before. Stuff of nightmares. 

It’s a hard film to talk about without going into spoilers. I’ll just say there’s a few elements of the plot that I think don’t work exactly, but everything else is so good I don’t give a shit. The tone, the cinematography, the performances, just everything. Even God damn Blair Underwood.
