A Savage Beast Goes Mad 1976
So funny and thrilling. It's amazing to see this obsession in japan's cinema to make films out of limited location of a bus comes from slow ethical approach of Hiroshi Shimizu's "Mr. Thank You" to very well controled mystery drama of Sejun Suzuki's "Eight Hours of Terror" to the savage and funny setting of this film. All three of them has some critical observation about how japan's society is struggling with moral crises. Political awareness of the last two is stronger but this one also has some point about systematic inefficiency of police force and state organizations.

a poem about love and loneliness in a minimal way with nice pieces of jazz and classical music. i feel at the end of the movie, loneliness swallowed everything. it's so so sad.
