“Are people born wicked or do they have wickedness thrust upon them?”

A quote that has stuck to me since I saw the broadway production and one that I will always love, as I feel it truly captivates the story that’s being told. 

Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo became Glinda and Elphaba so beautifully. The emotions were so raw and real, it was hard not to tear up when one of them did. The cinematography was stunning and the songs were done so perfectly. As for the story itself, it has always been one of my favorites because of how powerful it is and although it’s hard to compare the broadway production to this, they did an amazing job. Every actor gave it their all to embody these characters and it shows.
