Watched it twice to get a better handle on it. The foreshadowing and breadcrumb dialogue are absolutely the best part, followed closely by, well let’s see, everything else. My only real gripe is the over-explaining in the third act.
And the reference to veal, given how much this movie lifts from Silence of the Lambs, was a bit much. Still, a film about our fears and the taking of our souls by the Dark Lord might as well have a reference to the helpless slaughtering of the innocent.
