The opening credit card “A Film by Everybody Who Made It!” is so charming and speaks directly to the spirit the movie exists in.
They really never gave it a chance, with its dismal release and like three different titles that somehow got more generic and vague the further along it went — and didn’t at all capture what the movie was about.
And yet, that gives it the chance now to feel like a darling discovery for everyone who does stumble upon it — like finding a little hidden treasure that’s been buried for decades, but contains a litany of familiar faces you’re delighted to see, telling a winsome story about collective action and badass feminism.
