Held off on watching this film for far too long, and I finally watched it tonight— and I didn’t like it as much as I expected to. I usually love Guadagnino, but the pacing on this film was way too slow for my liking and the characters lacked depth. The tone also felt a bit flat. I enjoyed elements like the cinematography and soundtrack but I do think it’s a bit overrated.
