Halloween Ends, let’s fucking hope so!
Just bad, mind-numbingly bad. I’m still honestly so confused to what I’ve watched, just a terrible way to “wrap up the franchise”. This movie is an insult to the franchise and most importantly an insult to the constant battle between Laurie Strode and Michael Myres. It was marketed as their movie, their final showdown, they were side characters in their own movie. Jamie Lee Curtis is the only shining light she tries her best with the shitty dialogue but she isn’t enough. I can go into so much detail about what I didn’t like about the movie, whether it be the story, the dialogue, the acting even the marketing, which was pretty much a lie, but it’s just too much.
It gets a 1.5 stars simply because there was a 20 minute period of a 100 minute movie that I enjoyed and the kills were fun. Let the franchise die please, no more reboots, no more sequels, let it end. Sorry Jamie Lee Curtis, you deserve better.
