    I will forever love the scene where the barman tells us about how the murderer escaped the police, while René Clair shows us a bunch of street urchins reenacting the whole events, with a toy pistol and a car made of bits of wood and tat, outside the windows of the café.

    Best thing about the whole, way too long, film: David Bowie as Nikola Tesla. Didn't really care about any of the other characters, and the story was too predictable for my liking. I don't know what it was exactly, but I found both lead-actors immensely annoying and dull.
