Overall an enjoyable sequel although very messy. Feels like there were a million things going on and nothing ever really came to a satisfying conclusion. The main plot wrapped up in the blink of an eye, it felt very rushed. Still, all the returning elements from the original like the music, stop motion, and just overall visual creativity carried over and was great. Michael Keaton doesn’t miss a beat, every time he was on screen it was so much fun.
If you’re a fan of the original I think there’s enough here to have a good time. Film had a lot of potential but ultimately was just ok. Still a fun watch. Definitely should’ve released in October, missed opportunity.
