I don't know how Chris Sanders does it whenever he makes a story about an unlikely connection between two different species, but man did it ever work here! Lupita Nyong'o delivers a heartfelt vocal performance as Roz, and her motherly relationship with Brightbill the goose is the heart and soul of the film. I can't remember the last time an animated film made me tear up so much. Without a doubt, the best animated film of the year, and one of DreamWorks' absolute bests!
