It's a long time since I saw Last Crusade and this was probably only my third watch. There's a lot I'd forgotten:
I'd forgotten how tonally similar it is to Raiders
I'd forgotten how good the interplay is between Ford and Connery
I'd for gotten how much action there is
I'd forgotten just how bloody great the film is!

It's impossible to critically appraise Temple of Doom as it was such an essential part of my formative cinema-going years and the Indy film I've seen the most. I've docked half a star for because it does lose steam a bit when they get into the temple before the mine cart chase but hey, the opening sequence and the banquet more than make up for any other short(round)comings.

It's testament to how striking some of the visuals are that it's well over 20 years since I watched Delicatessen and I could still remember a fair few scenes.

Rollicking good fun live action Disney, back when Disney made rollicking good fun live action films. The love triangle sub plot is very well handled and there's some genuine laugh out loud moments from the mostly young cast.

Utterly compelling and equal parts entertaining and desperately sad, the documentary charts Amy Winehouse's rise to megastardom and lets those who knew her best tell her story.
