Simple and yet so beautiful. After watching this movie, I went to a park near the theater. I sat in front of a pond, some ducks were swimming in it. So I sat there in silence and started observing them.

Some were flapping their wings, maybe because of the leaves stuck in the water after falling from the tree nearby because the season forced them to leave their home. Or maybe because they don't feel comfortable in that water and have to screech their wings to feel better. Or maybe they are just having fun and trying to splash their duck friends with the water.

I started imagining and thinking about what those ducks were doing in that water, they were doing quack-quack and coin-coin, and I wanted like Roz to be able to communicate with them, to understand them, and to understand what they were doing. But I'm unfortunately just a human, and I don't have any advanced informatics system that allows me to understand them. So I just have my imagination to create a story from those ducks. Stories are created from what surrounds us. People, animals, objects, robots

The wild robot is not simply about those things that surround us, it's about how they change us, what they make us feel, and what they do to you. It's not only about the absurd scenario of a robot who raises a goose with the help of a fox. It's about finding love and friendship where we would never have imagined finding it, it's about being more than what people think you are or expect you to be. The wild robot is about something simple that is more than just something simple.

So as I sit here in silence, looking at the wild life, I imagine what more they are that my eyes can't see by simply looking. I let my imagination tell their story because I can't understand them. I imagine that the ducks swimming next to each other might be lovers or best friends, maybe they're talking about how annoying we humans are. I start to imagine any kind of scenario, there's a leader among them, everyone follows this duck except one, who stays away from that duck and all the other ducks, maybe it feels lonely, or maybe the others don't include it like Brightbill, I wish I could talk to that duck and tell it that things always get better.

Half an hour has past, and I leave the story I created, seeing a pigeon next to me, it's close, maybe it's asking me for food. I want to talk to it, but I can't. Because at the end I'm just human, and I can't stay forever with the pigeons and the ducks. But it doesn't mean that I can't live the same experience as the wild robot, I too have a whole world to discover that I don't fully understand, I too have unexpected people to be friends with and love, I too have to be more than I think I can, I too am like Roz, like Brightbill, like Fix and all the other animals of that island.
