Pretty decent, I'd say. Kind of lost me in the third act, which felt a bit detached from the rest of the film. Overall I liked the meticulous design of each shot, and many scenes have some cool and spooky iconography. Also idk about you all, but I struggle to think of a better Nicolas Cage performance. He really went in on this film and was probably my favorite part of it, and that's certainly boosting my rating a little bit. The story itself is ok if you don't think too hard about it. I thought I picked up on a few allusions and deeper themes, but that all falls apart the more I explore it. Probably just best to enjoy this film for what it is on the surface.
