Dune: Part Two 2024

I am genuinely in shambles right now. As the credits rolled I couldn’t help but to break down in tears and feel completely deflated. A triumphant and tragic story about faith, religion, and passion. Dune: Part 2, completely amasses the first film with ease. From acting performances, to set designs and scale, to the shear immensity of this film. Dune Part 2 is a magnificent feat in film making.

Wow. I’m speechless. Having the privilege to witness this movie in 70mm IMAX was breath taking. The monster size of this screen was incredible. 91 feet wide by 67 feet tall and it felt bigger.
This movie is not only an astounding take on biopics but it’s an astounding feat in filmmaking itself. This is quite possibly the densest movie that I have ever seen and it will take time to process. The pure immersion that 70mm IMAX gives you…

Oh! Yeah! This fucked me up good last night. Naomi Scott was acting like rent was fucking due. One of my favorite female lead performances this year, on top of the sheer discomfort while watching this film. Plenty of body chilling scenes that had me genuinely shaken in my chair. I don’t know if I would’ve been able to finish it in theaters.
