On the one hand, this is a typical story in which the FBI is looking for a serial killer who is killing families. Along with all the numerism and symbolism that comes with something like this. Nevertheless, it is clear from the beginning that there is also something supernatural involved; at least the FBI agent seems to have certain clairvoyant abilities. Unfortunately, the movie doesn't really know whether the focus is more on the classic, slow-burn detective story or more on the supernatural, which unfortunately leads to a break that is too strong at some point. At least Cage was able to have fun again and show us some of his crazy side.
