Exists in the space between past and present as much as it does the traditions of Italian neorealism and magic realism. A Rossellini co-exists in the same world as a Fellini troupe. Searching for treasures that can't hope to fill the hole they left behind, exhumations of the old world that might present a way forward, but as they show us that one key time, to unearth what happened is for the colour and light to drain from hermetic existence. The thread stays red for not knowing, perhaps that's worth holding onto; you'll see them one day. It's Louvart's year and everyone else is playing for second place.
