    This movie destroyed me emotionally but made me so happy at the same time. Dean Fleischer Camp and Jenny Slate have made something incredibly special. I'd be so glad if this won the Oscar for Animated Feature.

    It's so hard to put into words how much this movie means to me and how moved I am by it. The performances are incredible and the focus on the importance of doing what you love is strong. The family dynamics are so complex and the moment everything changes feels like a punch in the stomach. Even though the movie is two and a half hours long, I could've spent a lot more time enveloped in this story and these characters. The cherry on top was seeing one of my all-time favorite filmmakers acting toward the end.

    Totally could’ve done without this being a musical. So much of it missed the mark for me but there are vague moments that work. I won’t be shocked if this wins multiple Oscars.

    Great score and fun tennis! Some of the choices made in the final act really took me out of it but I had a good time watching overall.

    I'm thankful that I grew up in a household where my mom loved all things Peanuts and when I saw this on Apple TV+, I knew I needed to watch. I enjoy the structure of the new cartoon along with interviews and narration about Schulz's life. I just wish it could've been longer and delved deeper into everything that was discussed. This made me want to rewatch A Charlie Brown Christmas even though it's August.

    Céline Sciamma’s film functions as a fire - slowly burning, crackling at first and all of a sudden the flames are out of your control. Until finally the fire is put out, but the smolder lingers on.

    Portrait is a beautiful love story that is wonderfully portrayed by Adèle Haenel and Noémie Merlant. The cinematography blew me away and I loved the motifs included throughout the story. Seeing this on the big screen was a great experience and one that I won’t soon forget.
