I went in having ZERO idea, but I knew Cate was in it, so it had to be at least worth the time to watch it. Well, I rate this one on the acting and the story and how it made me feel... 5/5. Cried twice. lol So touching. Finally a film that my friend JULES made me watch but was a solid 5.

This film starts off delightfully cute, but then takes a sudden and jarring turn into pure horror. It's intriguing, original, and refreshingly unpredictable, which keeps you on edge throughout. I can’t say I "enjoyed" it in the traditional sense, as it’s shockingly unsettling and, in a few disturbing ways, quite repulsive. However, despite its discomforting moments, I do think it effectively delivers on what the writing and direction intended. Overall, it's a unique experience, and I’d give it 4 stars.

If I could give it a 6/5 I would. Not only is this film exceptional for an anime or animated film, but it also lends itself strongly to be remade for live action. It not only held my attention, but kept me on the edge of my seat the whole way through. I will say one thing this film is NOT, it is NOT predictable. I loved it!
