    List - First time watches in 2025

    This has been on my watchlist since I heard Chris McQuarrie say it was one of the films that inspired Dead Reckoning.

    You can see why with those train sequences, this was a great film and brilliantly acted.

    Definitely worth a watch. It was finally on streaming in the UK, it's on Amazon Prime for anyone who fancies a watch

    This film went at 100mph. I liked the overall plot of what story was being written and lots of the screwball comedy elements

    But, I just didn't like Cary Grant's Walter Burns at all. Hildy deserves someone a lot better than him. I know all of what he was doing was to get her, but it just wasn't for me due to that plot point though the film

    I'm happy I know where that gif of Cary Grant saying "Get Out" comes from now

    And that's a wrap on my alphabet challenge for 2025 and what a way to end it.

    This has been on my watchlist for some time, so I'm happy to have finally got around to seeing it

    It's a very long film, but I don't think it drags at any stage.

    Jake Gyllenhaal is by far the stand out here and I thought there were some very good…

    My word, this was absolutely phenomenal

    This was one of the best shot films I've ever seen. It's was gorgeous. The lighting was stunning. The score was amazing. The performances were so good too. Lily-Rose Depp was unbelievable.

    I loved this so much and I saw it in a near packed cinema too, which was great.

    I only rated one film five stars in 2024 and 2025 has started with a bang
