I love when cinema serves theater, but really the visuals were hypnotizing; I couldn't get my eyes off the screen for two hours. The story itself is really moving and well done, and I know I shouldn't judge it by present rules, but still, for me, Vronsky was a bit creepy. I mean, he was just stalking Anna, and yes, they were in love, but it just seemed yucky. Overall, the movie was great; I love everything 19th century-related and loved the costumes and scenography. Also, a great comment on disgusting, capitalistic Russia of that time.
