I do not like horror and especially do not like gross out horror and blood and this has relentless amounts of all of these. Many friends told me it was great and I can appreciate the sometimes wacky energy of the first 2/3, but all that is eclipsed by a disgusting amount of gore and body horror in the final 1/3. I can never unsee this.

Would you like to see the least subtle political allegory written this side of Alex Garland’s Civil War? How about a satire that’s both toothless and almost completely laugh-free? If that’s not enough, let me also point out that it’s shot and edited with no apparent skill or interest. I can’t understand wasting this rich a topic and this talented a cast.

Unique perspective. Excellent acting. Unfortunately, writing and directing were stilted and a little cliched.
