Being just stunned, horrified, shocked, and devastated by everything Scorsese and company brought to the table with this masterful work of art that simple words can’t do this film justice. Especially given that there are way more experienced and educated people on this site/ in general who can dive more into detail about it than I ever could. It truly left me speechless by the end.
And yeah, Lilly Gladstone might give the best performance of the decade (or at least top 5). Give her Best Actress win, please and thank you (also a Cillian Murphy Best Actor win too while you’re at it).
Edit (post Oscars): Sadly, Lilly did not win Best Actress (tho I still love Emma’s performance in Poor Things a lot too, so I can’t complain too much). But don’t worry Lilly, you will win your Oscar one day. At least Cillian won Best Actor. So that still counts as a win in my book.
