Rating: “Truly Amazing”
A bit more flawed than my last viewing of it nearly 6 years ago, but it’s still a beautiful, incredible, raw, and intimate film that demonstrates the brilliance Jenkins has as a filmmaker and storyteller that captures the real and honest emotions within the characters and the feelings they have with themselves/the world around them. I hope that Disney gave him that good paycheck from working on Mufasa so he can use it to make more brilliant works of art like this.
