Rating: “Great Stuff, Great Stuff”
Okay. I can see why it’s getting a ton of love recently, especially within award circles. A beautifully animated and dialogue-less driven film about the nature of life, the value of the land with us, and the simplicity and journey of these animals going through the trenches of water with an incredible score and great characters to boost. Some elements towards the end didn’t completely click with me, but otherwise some great stuff all around that you should watch if you get the chance to see it. Also it’s funny to see the millions of studio logos playing before the film actually begins (and it was cool to see the Janus Film logo on the big screen).
