There was a part of the film that kinda went into David Lynch and Terrence Malick territory and I think it’s the funniest scene I have seen all year so far.
Schwartzman and Kane are excellent, the humor is pretty solid, not sure if I’m a huge fan of the way it’s shot and edited most of the time, and the resolution felt lame and unearned (along with some ideas that aren’t explored enough as it should’ve). Overall, decent film that, while not amazing or flawless, I had a decent time with.
