What an amazing performance from Lee Young-ae! It really shocked me, considering the last time I watched her was in elementary school in Jewel in the Palace, portraying a completely different character. It was probably the only Kdrama shown on our local TV channel, definitely was not suited for kids lol but brings back a lot of memories.
The scene where she shows the video clips to the parents broke me into tears. :’)

Despite it being two and a half hours long, I found it thoroughly engrossing, packed with intrigue and surprising turns at every corner.
The cinematography in this film is stunning. Director Park Chan-wook's visual storytelling is exceptional, it truly captures the era's beauty and the contrasting atmospheres within the narrative.
