    Whoever came up with the Akira slide teaser poster is a genius and I love them.

    Also, this surprised me. I was expecting a corporate, soulless trilogy finisher that played upon the nostalgia strings of millennials. It was in fact corporate, but also very entertaining. The effects are so fun and Jim Carey did his fantastical Jim Carey thing. The classic anime-inspired fight scenes were epic and the lesson on revenge made me think of uncle Ben. All of that being said, I’m stoked for Sonic 4.

    Also that 4th wall break was brutal.

    I love this brutal acid trip of a 3rd act. I’m probably going to watch Alien, this, and Aliens as a trilogy because they’re the best three of the franchise and are also in chronological order.

    Also, playing Alien: Isolation has given me a whole new love for Romulus. There is so much inspiration taken from the game, which I adore, and it gives me easter eggs to keep looking for in future rewatches.

    My new favorite vampire movie and it’s not even close. This was so much fun. The music is great. The style is incredible. The vampires are goofy but scary. The story is engaging. The vampires are hot. The conclusion is satisfying. What’s not to like? Tell me one thing wrong with this film. I’m all ears but personally, I found no reason to give this less than 5 stars.

    I got 2015 vibes from this whole movie. With much of the Terrifier crew working on this, I expected a practical bloodbath. My expectation was met. David Howard Thornton makes a great killer, what can I say? As far as the story, I was pretty impressed. There were some really unique ideas and while gore took the spotlight, the plot wasn’t bad at all.

    Also, that twist was absolutely brutal.

    Really fun folk film. Some of the kills were extraordinarily well done. My favorites were the lawn mower and fishing hook but they were all pretty great.

    It’s hard to rate this when it’s such a Christmas staple. I used to resent Elf for being so big, but I’ve come around to liking it again. What can I say? The characters, story, and acting are just so fun!
