Insane how much this is able to pack inside 58 minutes. Not only does it convey this really large timespan and story in such a short manner, it does so with a relaxed pace that doesn't feel like it rushes along. The length honestly helps it, making it feel like splashes on a canvas of memories and moments, these brushstrokes through time as it rapidly jumps forward and back. It stands as this testament to being an artist and living as an artist, including what drives you and how reality can set in and alter your path as a creative. Kinda a perfect movie.
Crazy that a Jim Jarmusch film has a shootout in it, and it is obviously the most chill shootout scene in cinema history.
