Arguably an impressive movie that should entertaining almost anyone, though my usual qualms with Nolan's film style still persist: His inability to keep the camera still or to hold a shot for over 5 seconds etc. Female characters are comparatively flat, as per usual, but the film gets away with it. More importantly, the final one-and-a-half hours are such a fantastic spectacle for which I cannot find adequate words. The way Nolan shows some scenes from Oppenheimer's subjective perspective is insane, and the build up to the bomb-test, including its result are unspeakably great. Courtroom-style discussions are great, too, and you can bet they are if that statement comes from me, someone who generally dislikes extremely biased courtroom dramas on film. Nolan-esque time jumping is awesome in this, and I can't wait to hear the anti-asyncronous-storytelling crowd starting to whine about it haha... Definitely make sure to watch this on the biggest screen and with the best sound system possible!
