I feel extremely privileged to have been at the world premiere of this film, and to be able to hear laila and some of the cast talk about this film, and about palestine, with such raw passion and honesty. But even without that it’s impossible to ignore the difference between when this film was shot and now, and it gives the film an extra dimension I truly wish it didn’t have.
