the heartbreaking reality of war. these are just boys with moms, dads, dreams, futures. i appreciate this movie for showing the grimness and toll that war takes on soldiers. no glory, no honor, but death. death in the darkest sense. mandatory watch for all marvel fanboys. war is not fun guns and tanks. friends die.

very freaky deaky
incredibly important movie on understanding drug use, addiction and its consequences. informational and beautiful film. RFAD takes courageous leaps in the cinematography and filmography industry. risky chances that some could call weird or tacky, in this film, work beautifully and cohesively as a functioning body. i feel as if those who criticize drug addiction so harshly should be made to sit down and watch this. perhaps it would make them hate drugs even more, but also possibly gain new perspective. i think they should also watch beautiful boy.

curly haired girls understand the beauty and reasoning behind her hair going from straight to natural towards the end of the film. God, the way he looks at her? the way they look at each other? it is exactly the subtleties of this movie that make it so good. without those glimpses this movie would have next to nothing. its a fun and classic plot, but in a chick flick if the viewer cannot FEEL the love then its not worth seeing. this is worth seeing at least once in a persons life
