When I saw it back in 2018 during the time of it’s release, I didn’t enjoy it as much as everyone else, in other words I didn’t find anything great about it back then.
Now on a rewatch after more than 3 years, I realised that I was wrong and this isn’t as bad as I though it was, however I still think it’s just a more cool version of any other spiderman film. The coming of age element is good, the humour is miles (pun intended) better than the mcu spiderman humour, from animation to character moments, it’s all really enjoyable but I must say it’s way too high on the letterboxd top 250 list and for me personally this isn’t the best comic book film.
That being said, it’s easily one of the best spiderman films out there.
I’ll still come back to this when I am feeling down.
