Saw it for the imax re-release. I love the way 90s films look, not sure if imax really gives this any improvements but it was still great to see it on the big screen.
Not perfectly acted (Pitt is out of his depth against Freeman) but Fincher makes some beautiful choices in terms of shots and that script is gruesome and fucking TIGHT.

The number of truly horny movies has dwindled to only a few, so I had to catch this out of respect for the art form. Was actually interesting until she told her husband after that I got a migraine and kind of lost interest. Some interesting stylistic choices with the focus of the camera that I thought was a mistake at first but the more it went on the clearer it became that it was on purpose, now to what end it served that purpose I’m not sure. The very clear attempt to avoid the male gaze here is commendable.
