It's almost to good to be true, but this exceeded my expectations. These rehash movies don't have a great track record by any means but this was a blast, full of macabre sets and innovative corpses with tons of personality.
Watching this, it was hard to tell which of the cast was having the most fun. Keaton and Ryder fall right back into place but I was particularly impressed with how O'Hara sent it and Dafoe was my favorite. Amazing character with some of the best comedic bits in the whole movie.
Honestly, did this movie need to be made? Probably not. What I found refreshing the most about Beetlejuice² is that it seemed hell bent on giving the audience, and crew, a damn good time.
