Goddess in heaven, when are they going to give Florence Pugh a role with a remotely stable relationship? Suffers from some per usually constraining biopic conceits, even as the sort of "quantum" editing style laudibly tries to break the mould, and especially those for a movie adapted from a book (some lines were so unnaturally educational the character might as well have read off the citation including date of the article). Otherwise a wonderfully perverse display of fireworks and deceit, completed by a final court dramatic hour that might be the best acting out of RDJ, Blunt and Murphy's career. The most insidious takeaway for me was that every big name knew exactly how much evil belonged to claiming they are the lead provider of destruction. Lasting goodness has never and will never compete for history like them.
