I wish I could post my face of tenderness watching this movie as a review, because this made me feel so full of joy.
This is fantasy at its best and I can't expect less from Ghibli and Miyazaki. I admire this director and his wonderful talent to create fantasy worlds and amazing, quirky, iconic characters like the cat bus, the soot sprites and last but not least, the fluffy Totoro. Totoro is so adorable and his expressions are so cute, I just want to hug him so bad. The dance around the seeds was the cutest thing I've seen and I couldn't stop saying ''awww''.
My Neighbor Totoro it's a wholesome film. It made me feel so dazzled and wondered about everything, and is living proof that 2D animation can be better than 3D sometimes.
This was like seeing the world from the perspective of a child, full of innocence, happiness and desire for adventure.
How could I spend 20 years of my life without seeing this before?
