The trailers did not prepare for me this lol. By far Nolan's densest film, even at 3 hours long it still feels like there are lot of events glossed over in order to just keep the story moving at a propulsive momentum. But it's never boring, consistently well acted and easily one of the most cinematic biopics of the past decade.
The density of the plot and the fast paced dialogue kinda keeps at me arms-length from calling this a truly top tier Nolan until I rewatch (at home, with subtitles of course), but it's still just really nice to see a director be consistently rewarded for a bold artistic vision as much as Nolan has. Go see it!
