Love when a sequel is better than the first in every single way. I thought the original film was pretty good but this shit makes it look like demo reel. It so much better directed that I almost can't believe it's from the same guy. More fun and funny while at the same time having more interesting things to say. HOPEFULLY the rest of hollywood sees this and properly utilizes and recognizes her as the movie star she should've been…

The impact sam rami had on australian horror directors should be studied.
It's effects are good and bad at the same damn time and it has a LOT more of a lore/mythology than I expected? Overall a well directed goofy asl horror comedy, the climax in particular being very effective as a horror movie in spite of it narratively probably being a little tacked on.
