    This was a really amazing short. Everything about it felt relatable but also poetic. The two leads fit the role perfectly. Lindell especially played a closeted endearing awkward gay teen especially well. 
    Though I need to know what happens next!

    I did also get a kick out of the fact that 2003 Midwest America looks like 2024 Melbourne though aha.

    It’s a very sweet and personable film but unfortunately it does play very stock standard rom com. 
    But also a queer British rom-com that plays with similar tropes to a heterosexual rom-com is actually rather inventive now that I think about it. 
    It’s also something that I think can scratch your Heartstopper itch between seasons. 
    I definitely would not mind a sequel.

    There were some quite funny moments and it was entertaining to watch but I think like a lot of these types of film they try and be hip and like they reflect ‘the youth of today’ but they really didn’t at all. 
    I do know a few people who try and keep hold of their high school days which was pretty fun to watch ahah ~ Two and a half stars.
