“ Are you not entertained ! “ I can safely say I was entertained, I really had a good time with this and it’s the best film Ridley Scott has made in a very long time in my opinion. First of all Paul Mescal had such a hard role trying to live up to Russell Crowes epic performance in the first one, but I think he does a great job as Lucius and I thought he delivered some of his lines with such authority and power. As for Denzel Washington I thought he was good to but I do think his performance has been a tad bit overrated by critics and some in the film community, but as for Oscar prospects I do think he gets into best supporting actor but I don’t have him winning in my book now. The other supporting cast are decent to but I do think Fred Herchinger was a bit over the top in his performance, but Pedro, Connie and Joseph Quinn were good. I’m proper pleased I enjoyed it because I was skeptical beforehand about the film, but Ridley did a good job here
