The first time I watched this I was kind of drowsy and couldn’t give it the attention needed to fully appreciate what it was doing. Upon rewatching I realized this movie was more of an artistic experience than a movie as one typically thinks of them.

Definitely a long movie that required several breaks to finish. However, it still was a great movie about the trouble young men got into in Taiwan in the early 60s. Specifically, the fights and other issues related to the street gangs those young men were involved with. Overall, a great watch if you can sit through almost 4 hours of film, much of it being relatively slow paced.

Really fun movie I somehow never got around to watching before. Definitely unique among Disney movies and different from most of what they did before and have done since in terms of animation. Interesting characters that provided more diversity than Disney movies tend to.
