Guns in cookie jars and yoo-hoo; the fact that I can't marathon a whole The Nice Guys franchise like I can Lethal Weapon absolutely devastates me. Hollywood would seemingly rather hire writers and directors who unsuccessfully emulate Shane Black's style rather than just hire the guy himself. We should have at least a whole trilogy of these by now given how outstanding Gosling and Crowe's chemistry is, but alas…
