Never have I seen a movie so eloquently capture the emptiness, ugliness and artifice of Hollywood. Chasing this dream of fame and art by dancing on the rotten & flashy carcass of blue, red and purple lighting. Gosling is fantastic as always and it's embarrassingly my first Stone film and it won't be my last. I'd even say she was better than Gosling. The ending too... in this world, it's either career or love, one passion for the other. An endlessly appealing hellscape
