    May thy knife chip and shatter.

    This was the greatest theatre experience I’ve ever had, my first time attending an IMAX showing and it didn’t disappoint at all. Dennis Villeneuve took what he built in Dune Part One and transcends it to a whole different level. The cinematography, the story telling, the character development and the score are all just top fucking tier. Hans Zimmer once again takes in a ride, it traps you in your sit with no option…

    Good movie, the animation and drawing style was beautiful, loved the idea and the way they expressed the animals’ emotions.

    However, as for me, I’m not disappointed but, I am sadly somewhat close to it. The movie couldn’t manage to connect with me not it move me emotionally at all. The Wild Robot is vastly superior, in every aspect, in my eyes. 

    I’m very happy for the team winning the Oscar since I admire that they managed to do this with $3.7M.

    I’ve been binge watching Daredevil so I’ve kinda been out of movies but wanted to watch this before the Oscars tomorrow.

    The movie does flow within time, it’s like a comfortable ride in the car, it goes on and on in a good way. The 2h10 went by as quickly as they could. Timothée is an spectacular talent and I can’t fucking wait for every single one of his next projects. His presence on the screen and personality off the screen is great for present cinema.

    We will conquer this wilderness. It will not consume us.

    The wilderness did, in fact, consume them. Eggers is insane, the tone he sets, the visuals, everyone man. All around fantastic performances from the cast.  Ralph Ineson is going to do a terrific job with Galactus man whew. The Witch, The Lighthouse and Nosferatu, 3/3 for demon Eggers. The Northman, soon.

    Does evil come from within us, or from beyond?

    What an incredible way to start my year in theatres. Robert Eggers goes crazy once again, I’ll have to tap in into The Northman and The Witch because both Nosferatu and The Lighthouse have connected with me. Cinematography was outstanding for the whole runtime. Willem Dafoe, I love you, devoured every scene he was in. Nicholas Hoult, what a year my son, can’t wait for Lex. And at last, Lily-Rose Depp…talk…
