    I realized I have met the love of my life when three things in a row happened within the week: she made a Brian Eno reference regarding escalator drones, we sang along to “Deacon Blues” by Steely Dan, analyzing what it means and I bought a 4K of The Shining specifically to show her the Bear costumed man moment she had forgotten. Not to mention we had our own Room 237-like conservation.

    Lost track of how many times my cat’s eyes got wide watching this. I couldn’t help but wonder if we were experiencing the same level of anxiety at times. Stunning to look at, but goodness, those poor animals being in peril so often. This actually scared me more than most horror films this year!
