I’m writing this review of The Holdovers a year after watching it because it truly stuck with me. The film perfectly captures the era and the mood of that time, resonating deeply with me. Growing up without TV, I watched a lot of films—most of which were slightly older—and The Holdovers transported me right back to my childhood. For that nostalgic connection and its masterful storytelling, I’m giving it a 4.5.
