It's a Wonderful Life was directed by Frank Capra and it was released in 1946. The film features great performance from the entire cast especially from Jimmy Stewart. His character is the heart and soul of the film and he doesn't disappoint. The film tells the story of a man that is contemplating suicide, so an angel is sent down to show him what the world would be like has he never been born.
We first get to see all the events leading up to his suicidal thoughts. This is really my only problem with the film. It takes too long to get to the part with the angel! He finally shows up with under 30 minutes left. That didn't bother me too much though. It's a Wonderful Life is a fantastic movie that should be viewed by all. It's message is universal and important. I don't know why it took me so long to see this movie! 8.5/10
