    I've always enjoyed the feel and aesthetic of the Pirates franchise. It's the stories, goofiness, and ridiculous plots that I never enjoyed. This one is a soft spot for me, the writing is really quite good minus a couple awful lines ("try wearing a corset"). It's actually quite shocking how much the action, CGI effects, and adventure holds up all these years later.
