I was really drawn in by the setting and ambiance. The premise of a haunting thriller that takes place in a secluded fishing camp in the 1800's sounded original and interesting, but it unfolds in a rather dull way. Odessa Young is definitely a good actor but even she can't elevate the plot beyond a bunch of simple scares and flat tone. The ending was so cheap and unsatisfying.
